Why VendingBox?

Having worked with e-commerce systems for many years, the VendingBox team realised that there was a need for a simple and easy-to-use sales platform which could be used to help people take advantage of their social networks.

A quick look at the social commerce landscape revealed no easy-to-use application, providing automatic integration with existing systems. Most existing e-commerce platforms require sellers to buy domain names, hosting and get involved with a bewildering array of carts, plugins and content management systems. Other social e-commerce platforms provide a poor user experience and often leave the user feeling like they are wading through page after page of advertisements before they get where they want to be.

VendingBox was designed with 3 principles in mind.

• First, it should provide a pleasant shopping experience which will be enjoyable for customers to use and look at.
• Second, it should be very easy for social network users to get started so that they will want to tell others about it.
• Third, it should seamlessly integrate with existing e-commerce systems, so that established vendors can use it easily.
